WCCC – Spring 2012
Sauces - March 13th Always a hit with the crowd the sauce presented this class are, traditional marinara sauce, carbonara, and Sergio cream sauce. Come and see how easy they are to prepare and how enjoyable it will be to serve them to your family and friends.
Italian Desserts - March 22nd Come and make Tiramisu and another surprise but simple desserts with me. Also that evening we will prepare a light entrée so as not to spoil our appetite for the sweets.
Gnocchi - April 10th Home made gnocchi with a chicken flavored red sauce and sautéed mushrooms.
Chicken Parmigiana - April 17th A simple delicious recipe served tonight with a side of penne and spinach.
Crispelle - May 1st Yes! Italians have crepes too. In this session we will learn to make the crispelle. They can be savory, for a light brunch, or sweet for a dessert. Either way they, they are always a hit.
Meatballs alla Peperonata - May 8th Savory meatballs cooked in a bed of sweet bell peppers and onions and served w/roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Soups all’Italiano - May 15thSoups are an Italian staple and a hearty dish that pleases almost everyone. They are easy to prepare, delicious and economical. Tuscan bean soup, Italian onion soup and zucchini soups will be featured. Served with a slice of quality Italian bread and a glass of wine, it is hard to find a more family friendly meal.
Risotto Three Way - May 17th We take a basic Arborio rice recipe and then add vegetables, fish, or meat to it, to transform it into a delicious entrée or a side dish.
